Day 1 Air Port, Negombo.
Air Port pick up, Drive to Negombo mostly known as city of honey as well as Little Rome. It is the nearest city to the Air Port and to the Beach.
Day 2 Anuradapura,
Start the trip in the morning at 9.00 to Drive to Anuradapura heritage site( Sri Lanka’s first capital, medieval city 3rd BC-10th AD) and on the way see the beautiful nature like paddy fields and coconut plantations, culture and the village life, in the evening visit the site. overnight in Anuradapura.
Day 3 Mihinthale, Sigiriya
8.30 in the morning start the journey to Visit to Mihinthale rock (ruins of first ever Ayurvedic hospital in Sri Lanka), Drive to Sigiriya Rock fortress (5thC AD King Sigiri Kassapa) one of ancient marvel of architecture, art, water management and city planning in the world. In the evening Ayurvadic massage or Elephant ride which is most famous activities in this area, it is optional as guest request can be done. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 4 Polonnaruwa.
Start to drive Polonnaruwa at 9 in the morning (mediaeval city 11- 12C AD) Visit the heritage site and see the biggest Lake in Sri Lanka (Prakrama samudraya). In the Do a Minneriya or Kaudulla national Park safari is also on guest request. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 5 Kandy, Nalanda Gedige, Mathale Aluviharaya
In the morning at 9.00 Drive to Kandy, on the way to Kandy visit Dambulla cave temples (largest folk ceiling paintings 18thC), Nalanda Gedige temple and Mathale Aluviharaya (the place where the Tripitakaya has been written for the first time) Drop from Kandy.
